LOCATION

Our retreat home is Terzo Di Danciano, a small medieval hamlet immersed in a stunning rural setting. It overlooks the border between Umbria and Tuscany near the beautiful city of Cortona. The beauty, comfort and inspirational nature of the space makes Terzo Di Danciano an idealic location for our Tango retreat. Excellent home cooked food, an exclusive private environment, fine wines and chic bedrooms with stunning views of the surrounding countryside.

All Tango seminar’s and Yoga classes will take place in ‘The Theatre’, a beautiful seminar hall with aged oak wood floor, stone walls and impressive dimensions which can acommodate up to 200 guests for our Gala Milonga night and will be open for use at all times of day and night during our retreat.

Terzo Di Danciano’s private spa offers you a hot water pool made of travertine stone with hydromassage, a detoxifying hot-stone hammam, infrared sauna, a spacious shower and a range of massages and treatments overlooking the forest outside.

THE FOOD

Prepare to be blown away by the delicious home cooked food by the in-house chefs. Food is local and seasonal, expect continental breakfasts with everything you could desire for a fulfilling meal, buffet lunches and seated dinners connected to the ingredients of the season, offering every day a rich and varied menu. You’ll be welcomed with a traditional aperitivo with excellent prosecco and you will have plenty of choice of fine wines to enjoy throughout your stay from the local wineries!

Investment

There are just 18 places available for the retreat and prices are per person. You can book solo or with a partner and the retreat will be role balanced. For this reason, it will be helpful if you could invite a dancer of the opposite role to join us as this will help us with keeping roles balanced and ensuring the best experience for everyone!

There are limited single occupancy rooms available, sharing rooms are all very spacious with en-suite bathrooms and large comfortable beds. You will be assigned a room with someone of the same sex or your requested friend or partner.

Sharing Room (En-suite Bathroom, most are King size beds for each guest)- £1150pp

Single Occupancy (En-suite Bathroom, king size bed)- £1300pp

To secure your place, we ask for a deposit (non-refundable) of 25% to be paid by bank transfer. These details will be emailed to you after registration in your official confirmation email.

A second payment of 25% will be due by 9th September 2024, a third payment of 25% due by 9th December 2024 and the final balance due by 24th February 2025.

Please note that no refunds will be given for cancellations after 9th December 2024.

Extra’s

You will be able to book massages, treatments and even cooking classes throughout your stay.

Flights

Flights leave daily from London to Perugia which is the closest airport ( a 45 min drive away). You can also fly to Rome or Florence and take a short train ride to the nearest town which is Terontola-Cortona.

Transfers

We will help to arrange transfers from Perugia airport or the train station and will set up a Whatsapp group nearer the time and help group people together for those arriving at a similar time and location.

Do I need experience?

Yes, you will need to have experience dancing Tango to join the retreat, unfortunately we won’t be able to accept complete beginners.
